Before joining the Board of AIL in 2018, Mr. Galang had a wonderful experience working as Crane Operator at United Stevedores from 1982-1986, Customer Service Officer, ChQ, A/C, Bills and Overseas Section at PNG Banking Corporation from 1989-1994. Returned to United Stevedores as Clerk Heavy Machine Operator for 12 years until becoming a Transport Supervisor from 2008-2012 in the same company.

Continuing his walk of life, he attended several trainings. In 2011 he successfully finished his Pastoral Training at the Christian Outreach Centre Ministry Training In 2011.

Mr. Galang is a Pastor currently serving under the Reformation Ministries Churches Networking Inc.
​
At present he is part of the board of Ahi Hope Foundation and Ahi Terminal Services Limited.
